Summary
You may cancel your ReaderMagnet subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. EU/UK customers have additional rights under consumer protection law.
ReaderMagnet offers monthly and annual subscription plans (Starter, Author, and Publisher tiers). All subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorise Taciturn Studios LLC to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
New subscribers receive a 30-day free trial. No payment is collected during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged at the applicable plan rate.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard under Settings → Billing, or by contacting us at [email protected].
Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent periods. Access to paid features will continue until the subscription period expires, after which your account will revert to a free tier (if available) or become read-only.
If you are not satisfied with ReaderMagnet within the first 30 days of your first paid subscription (excluding free trial periods), you may request a full refund of your first month's or first year's payment. To request a refund, email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" within 30 days of your first charge. Refunds are processed within 48–72 hours (depending on bank processing time) to your original payment method via Stripe.
The 30-day money-back guarantee applies once per customer and does not apply to renewals, upgrades, or plan changes.
Subscription renewals are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, you will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the billing period. If you downgrade, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing period and no partial refund will be issued for the current period.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase (the "cooling-off period") under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless you have expressly requested that the service begin before the end of the cooling-off period and acknowledged that your right of withdrawal is thereby lost.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at [email protected] before the 14-day period expires. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
We may issue refunds outside of the above policy at our sole discretion in cases of technical failure, billing errors, or other exceptional circumstances. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 30 days of the charge.
