Questions

Will this QR code stop working?

No. It is a static QR code: the link is stored inside the pattern itself, so there is no redirect service that can expire. If you change the link later, make a new code.

Can I track scans?

Static codes do not count scans. Add UTM parameters to your link (for example ?utm_source=paperback) and check your analytics instead.

Where should authors use a QR code?

Back matter in paperbacks, bookmarks, event banners, signing tables and postcards. Point it at your reader magnet or review page, not your homepage.

Is my link uploaded?

No. The code is generated in your browser and nothing is sent to ReaderMagnet.
